Maths for the terrified

This book breaks down everything you need to know for the GRE. ALthough the maths is not difficult, this book provides a lot of test questions and gives a much better idea of what the exam standard is like than the all inclusive test books. I recommend that you buy or borrow this and work through it - i improved my score by over 100 points by taking the time to revise this way.

Good for those of us who haven't done this stuff for years..

I last dealt with GMAT style maths in my teens (nearly 20 years ago) and found that the main GMAT manuals don't go into enough detail.

This book was very clear in explaining the maths and had lots of worked examples - essential if you're going to get a good understanding of the subject.

Recommended if you're nervous about maths for the GMAT.

I ended up scoring in the top 20% for the quant. part of the GMAT!
