This is lame, they post great prices and when you go and check out the shipping charges, they jumped from $3.50 to the same price as the book $25.00...this site is total BS!!!!! needless to say I won't be ordering from them!!! They should be removed.

Received the book 3 days after ordering in new pristine condition. The book was the best price out of 5 sellers i looked at.

the item i ordered (Biblio had the best price) was immediately cancelled, and i was informed that the book was no longer in stock.
I should have paid heed to all of the negative reviews before I wasted my time,,,,,

Absolute rubbish; whenever you click on an apparently cheap item the price the site provides usual turns out to be several times more expensive. Maybe the result of a glitch in their software, or a deliberate attempt to lure customers with false promises: either way it creates a distinctly bad impression.

If your seller is from India, you have to be real patient. Books took about 40~60 days to arrive, despite opting for expedient delivery.(The books take time to go through the custom.)
Books printed in India are of inferior quality.
So, do prepare for all the above.
If you don't mind, then it is still ok to purchase from them.
The greatest irony I encountered was with Cotswold Internet Books, which sounds like a well-established book store but it took more than 3 months to send a book from UK to Taiwan!!!(again I paid for expedient delivery)
Never buy from Cotswold Internet Books anymore.

Biblio is just like ABE or Amazon Marketplace. I've used them a dozen times and only once was an order canceled, and that happened right away, so I didn't waste time and I wasn't charged. (Unlike with Albiris and Amazon, who charge you right away, Biblio doesn't charge you until the seller confirms that they have the book. The seller might be lying, but that's not Biblio's fault.) The international shipping charges tend to be cheaper than Amazon, ABE, or Alibris. My only complaint is that currency used for displaying prices (but not actual purchase prices) is set to that of the user's address and cannot be altered. For most people this wouldn't matter, but although I live in Japan I prefer to see prices in dollars rather than yen.

Would rate 0 stars if I could. I ordered a book and selected airmail shipping with a tracking number. My order status said it was shipped but I never got my book after 2 weeks and never got a tracking number. I emailed the seller and never got a response. I finally had to cancel my order and file a claim through paypal. I needed that book quickly and they wasted my time and effort.

Placed my order and a week later they send me an email saying the order was cancelled. They make some lame excuse about this is how used booksales go. This has never happened to me on Amazon Marketplace or Half.com. I'll stick with them and never waste my time with Biblio again.

These people are really bad and are cheaters. Please find the book you want some where.They sell very very poor quality books printed in India.And on its cover it says LOW PRICED EDITION.....which these people never tell you before you buy....and the book they sold me is not authourized to be markated in Europe...but they sell it illegally in the internet.......on top of that it is printed on a very very poor quality paper.......This means the actual price of the book is much much lower than you pay even if they offer the least price.

I was going to order from them until I saw that the shipping would have cost me the same amount as the book itself! $8+ for shipping one book is stupid! The list here says that it would have cost 3$ to ship and thats reasonable. Plus the seller's website says that it might take 2-3 weeks to get here! For $8 It should be coming to me in days not weeks.

They're advertising ISBN 0679776311, the new Roger Penrose Road to Reality Edition as "In stock! Used Condition." But this book doesn't come out until January 2007.

Nearly every other bookseller says "Not yet published - Advance Order".

Doesn't look good when they advertize a book we know they don't have.

actually shipping price was significantly higher than stated in this list.
also spent alot of time on the website picking out books only to find the shipping price made the price 5x's what was quoted for the books. a big disappointment.

Pretty good when it comes to prices, because they sell Asian English editions of the textbooks.
But literally you might wait about a month until the books show up. They send them from China!
